Playmaking

opportunity for young actors to experience all the aspects of the
play production process, culminating in a performance in our Once
Upon A Time
Playhouse. Ages: 6-10; 8 weeks; $80. + 5. materials fee
Singing
Hands ~ Tuesdays 10-11am ~ Chandra Oppenheim and
Delilah Poupore
A
great way for parents and young ones to connect while singing songs
and exploring sign language. Ages: Newborn – 3; 8 weeks
Fairies,
Gnomes, and Woodland Creatures ~
Tuesdays
3:30-4:30 ~Leah Cross
We
will create characters for whom we will make homes, and habitats by
using femo, clay and natural materials. Ages: 5-8 8 weeks $80. + 10.

Releasing
muscular tension through relaxing and mentally restorative poses.
Yoga for everyone. Ages: Adults; 8 weeks $80.
Printmaking
~ Thursdays 3:30-4:30 ~ Leah Cross
Explore
different printmaking techniques, using various surfaces, methods,
and materials. Ages: 6-10; 8 weeks $80. + 10. materials fee
Pancakes!
~ Fridays 3:30-4:30 ~ Erica Thompson
We
will combine cooking with travel...and learn how other cultures make,
serve, and eat (the best part!) the universal “pan cake”.
Ages: 5-7; 8 weeks $80. + 10. materials fee

Teacher Biographical Notes..
Leah Cross -
Leah is a professional artist/ceramicist living and working on Munjoy Hill, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from UMass, Amherst. She has taught at A Company of Girls and here at The Schoolhouse for the After School Arts Program.
Erica Thompson -
Erica has been a professional actress since the age of seven. She has a BS in Performing Arts Education and has studied acting at Neighborhood Playhouse and HB Studios in New York. Erica has written, directed, and produced children's productions for over thirty years, and taught acting workshops (Children's Theatre of Maine; Company of Girls - amongst other places) for even longer than that. Erica is a veteran preschool teacher, having taught here - at The Schoolhouse - as well as Vermont, Philadelphia, and New York.
Students must preregister via phone or email for classes for planning purposes.
